ART & INFO
This is the starting point of any design creation. Everything we do is custom, so if you have an idea or logo that you’d like to put onto a sign, banner, vehicle, or decals...
this is where it all starts.
What we require if you are providing us with an image or text, is the highest resolution picture available. This includes good quality drawings, photographs, or any digital media that you or a third party has created. Most images pulled from the internet have a low resolution and ussualy need to be re-built.
FILES THAT ARE GOOD
- Photoshop files (.psd, .pdf)
- Corel Files (.cdr)
- Adobe Illustrator (.ai)
- Encapsulated Post Script (.eps - vector file)
- Font files (.ttf)
- jpeg, bmp, gif
DONT WORRY! If you do not have all of these files, we carry many fonts in stock, and are able to create most anything. Be prepared for a small art charge on creating artwork from scratch.

ART APPROVAL
Once we get an idea of what you need, we will do a 'mock-up' of your design or logo, and send you a proof, along with any question we might have for you. At this stage we will need to know exact measurements, or have you come in and decide with us the exact size for all your signage. This is a great time to provide us with photos of the job at hand. This process can be relatively quick if you are prepared and know what you want.
APPLICATION
Once we determine size, shape, and colours, then we decide whether we want to laminate, use a matte or gloss finish, and what it's going on. We have all the tools to apply to signboard, glass, and most other hard surfaces. If you need an aplication done to a vehicle, you can bring it down to Up The Creek, or we can provide you with simple instructions (in some cases) on how to register and apply your decals yourself!
Remember: Just like everything else, size and quantity make up for a magority of the price. The more decals or signs you do, the less they become!
